Fuji Festival is a three day, four night camping/music festival. It
was about 4 hours north of Tokyo in Japan in a town called Neaba. The
prefecture was Niigata, Japan. It was on a ski resort/golf course.
The mountains were beautiful, the music grand. The rain and the mud I
could have done without. You know how they have 20 different names for
types of snow in Alaska, and 20 different types of names for rain in
Seattle. Well...there are at least 20 different names for MUD!
Check out the site for more details about the bands and the event.
www.fujifestival.com I
really liked
, Sugar Ray, and
Chemical Brothers. There were many others I saw also that were good.
Some however...were not so great. Soe of the other good bands
were...DIRTY DOZEN BRASS BAND,
, SLY & ROBBIE with MICHAEL
ROSE, G.LOVE & SPECIAL SAUCE, THE THRILLS, ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION, COLDPLAY,
and SHEENA & THE ROKKETS. Some of the ones I didn't care for
were...MAJESTIC CIRCUS, ANTHRAX, HOTWIRE,
,
, THE MUSIC, DANKO JONES,
Vincent Gallo, etc...etc...
